About LRR Neighbors
A community-powered directory connecting neighbors with trusted local services.
About LRR Neighbors
LRR Neighbors was created by and for the residents of Little Rocky Run in Centreville, Virginia. Our mission is to help neighbors find reliable, trustworthy home service providers through honest, community-driven reviews.
Every reviewer is a verified resident of our neighborhood, ensuring that the recommendations you find here come from people you know and trust.
How It Works
Verified residents can browse existing reviews, submit new businesses, write reviews of services they have used, and vote on the helpfulness of other reviews. Our karma system rewards active, helpful community members.
Why We Verify
LRR Neighbors was built by and for the Little Rocky Run community. When you read a review or recommendation here, it comes from someone who actually lives in our neighborhood and uses these services.
Verification is how we keep it that way. By confirming that every member is a real resident, we make sure our directory stays trustworthy, helpful, and free from spam or fake reviews. We built this for us — and verification is how we protect what makes it valuable.
How We Verify Residents
Verification is quick — it takes about 30 seconds. You provide your name and street address, and we match it against Fairfax County property records. That's it.
We know that names aren't always straightforward, so our system handles common variations like nicknames and minor spelling differences. You shouldn't have to fight with a form to prove you live here.
You get three attempts to verify. If something goes wrong and you get locked out, just reach out to the site admins and we'll get it sorted out.
How We Protect Your Data
The property records we use for verification are public data from Fairfax County — we don't collect anything beyond what's already publicly available. Your verified status is visible to the community, but your street address is never displayed publicly on your profile.
If property ownership changes, we don't just delete your account. Your account is gracefully deactivated and you're notified with clear instructions on what happened and what to do next. Your existing reviews and contributions remain visible.
We don't sell or share your personal information. Your information stays in the neighborhood.
